To a soldier serving in SS-Sturmbrigade RFSS.
The Sturmbrigade was formed in February 1943 as a motorised company accompanying the Reichsfuhrer SS.
June 1943 the brigade was relocated to Massa-Carrara Italy then onto Corsica to form a bridgehead in the south of the island for the upcoming evacuation of German troops from Sardinia.
In September of 1944 the brigade was incorporated into the 16th SS Panzer Grenadier Div "Reichsfuhrer SS.
