WAFFEN SS OFFICERS "DER FUHRER" TUNIC

A very nice example of a senior Waffen SS officers tunic, somewhat on the small side this is a beautifully tailored tunic in a lightweight barathea wool.Tunic is a textbook pattern Dark green collar,six button frontage,two breast pockets buttoned with flaps, two lower pockets also buttoned with flaps. Insignia consists of sew-in white piped (infantry) shoulderboards, machine applied collar patches for Regiment "Der Fuhrer", and a hand applied silver bullion arm eagle. Unfortunately the cufftitle has been removed (probably in recent years) leaving the stitching present. Again like a lot of these SS tunics coming on the market the name label has also been removed, which is such a shame..
