WAFFEN SS LIGHTWEIGHT M37 HELMET

in good used condition, helmet originally started life as a double decal police helmet, then re-issued to the SS.
These helmets was used extensively by rear echelon troops and certainly by members of the Sicherheitsdienst (SD) and Sicherheispolizei (SIPO).
Decals are in overall good codition with the Police decal being replaced by an SS example. Interior hasthe lightweight three pad liner,which needs some gentle loving attention, and helmet still retains its quick release strap.
