WEHRMACHT HONOUR ROLL CLASP (Ehrenblattspange)
In mint unissued condition with full length ribbon.
The clasp was first awarded in January 1944 with a total of 4,556 of the Army version being awarded.
It was bestowed on servicemen who had obtained the EK1 and EK2 but had not done enough to get the Deutsche Kreuz or the Knights cross.

Klose was discharged in 1940 at the age of 52 from the SS-Totenkopfsturmbann Weimar/Buchenwald.
In 1944 he was recalled as a driver/guard to the SS-Fuhrer begleit Komp Berlin.
